§ 1 Organizer, Organization and Scope of Application
Organizers are ThermHex Waben GmbH (hereinafter “Organizer A”;) and Fraunhofer IMWS (hereinafter “Organizer B”) from Halle (Saale) (hereinafter jointly “Organizer”). The following Terms of Service govern the contractual relationship between the participant at the Conference, (hereinafter referred to as “Event”) and the Organizers. Differing general terms and conditions of the participant have no validity.

§ 2 Registration and Confirmation of Registration
A contract for participation in the event is only concluded after the participation fee has been received by Organizer A and the registration has been confirmed in writing (exclusively by e-mail). Registration takes place via the Internet. The registration becomes valid by the written confirmation of the organizer A. Amendments and/or supplements to the contract must be made in writing. Verbal agreements shall only apply if confirmed in writing.

§ 3 Services and Price
The participation fee is per person and event date exclusive VAT at the statutory rate. It includes the entitlement to participate in the conference and to visit the associated company tours as well as to participate in the food supply during the breaks between events and to have lunch, including the beverages offered during breaks.
The evening event, travel costs and accommodation are not included.
The organizers reserve the right to replace announced speakers with others and to make necessary changes to the event program while preserving the overall character of the event. Such changes do not constitute a right of the participant to a refund of the participation fee, the performance of partial services or other expenses. If it is not possible to hold the event due to force majeure, current governmental measurements regarding Covid-19, disturbances at the venue or for economic reasons, the participants will be informed immediately. Cancellation for economic reasons shall be made no later than 2 weeks prior to the event. In this case the participation fee will be refunded. A claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of working hours is excluded, unless such costs arise due to grossly negligent or intentional behavior on the part of the organizer. The organizer undertakes to take all reasonable measures to remedy or eliminate any disruptions to services that may occur.
§ 4 Cancellation of the Event
The organizers can cancel the event at any time. In this case, the mutual performance obligations of the parties shall cease to apply and the participant shall be reimbursed for participation fees already paid. Further compensation services of the organizer, e. g. transport tickets already booked (e. g. train, flight) or hotel costs, including any cancellation fees, will not be assumed by the organizer, unless there is a case of intent or gross negligence.

§ 5 Participation Fee
The participation fee results from the date of registration (early bird until 31.10.2021), the professional status (student discount) and the participation in the evening event.

§ 6 Cancellation
Cancellations by the participant are possible at any time.
This has to be made in writing to the organizer A, whereby the following contact possibilities are to be used: E-mail: kontakt@faserverbund-sandwich.de.
If the declaration of cancellation is received by 22.04.2022, the booking will be fully cancelled and if booked, including the fee for the evening event. If the declaration of cancellation is received after 22.04.2022 the entire participation fee will be due. This also applies to non-appearance without prior cancellation. Please do not forget to cancel your hotel reservation in case of cancellation. A substitute participant or a representative for the participant can be named at any time and free of charge.
In any case, a written cancellation, stating the account number, will be required for the refund of the amount in question, taking into account the above points.
